Escape 3
Lately the point and click games scene is pretty quiet and most of the people is starving for more mind boggling games. Today out of the blue Gameshandbook had silently released the new episode of the GH Escape series. This third one is not as easy as you think because many got stuck in the dark room even in the starting of the game.
Hint: It’s not that easy to find the match to light up the room.

Yeah, I’d say it’s hard. Can’t click on anything that I can’t see.. Though there’s something in the dark that I can click, but it doesn’t really do anything. Oh well.

WTF is this……….there is something over on the left hand side even with the steps…..click on it multiple times and it moves across the screen…however nothing ever shows up in the light…….f*in scrap

this is what i know sofar, centre of screen inch up from bottom of game screen is match once lit quickly move barrell switch on wall behind it for light. click on oil can multiple times then get key from oil, move big box to get handle for pump assemble then pump tire till key pops out. Basket balls bounce on end of cursor to get into hoop once all 4 through key appears at ring bracket hope this helps all ive got sofar

ok im out.!!!!!! not sure if there are multiple endings like in other pnc games but was surprised at how easy it was once i got it, its not so hard once you figure it, one more hint dont bother with all the puzzles and the safe etc concerntrate on the balls and just do the pump, and oil as well no particular order

I’ve put a bit of sticky note on the screen where the matchbox is and refreshed the screen a couple of times to get a look at the room. Sad eh?!

try to zoom in once where the matches are and look for your mouse to turn to an arrow then click and a match will light, hurry and move the barrel in the background to the side and hit the light switch.

there is a hot spot above the letter in in cheats on the bottom left corner. Zoom in on that spot once and (right click your mouse to find how to zoom) move your mouse to the left side about a third of the way up, look for it to turn into an arrow and click and it lights the match, hurry and move the barrel in the background to find the light switch. Make sure you then unzoom.

Matches are about middle of the screen, approximately an inch above the lower line of the screen… just click like a maniac- just as i did

Its there ,really! Look above the e in cheats about a third of the way up, you have to move slowly ,click on the hot spot then zoom once then look to the right for your mouse to turn to an arrow again that is where the match is. ………Sorry i just realized on my previous post after you zoom i said move to the left but it is move to your right.

4.) shove box on car-screen to get handle for pump–> pump up carwheel. take key out of wheel

9.guitar: (will take some time to do that) zoom in(right click)… now everytime the hand turns into an arrow press it (will be hard to find believe me!)… after about 6times a key apears next to the guitar and a little song plays…

Let me tell ya something…i did what wise guy said for a very looooooog time. Nothing…i finally put a spot of white out on my window so i could go back and forth to light the darn thing and what do ya know..? it just kept moveing to the right little by little until i was under the stairs! never did get it lit. baffled in NC

the moving spot is the wrong one. The match is a different one. Look at the comments above. (You should zoom in, use right-click for that.)

the above notes are a bit irritating. The spot for the match is not above the “e” for “cheats”. It is actually very close to the center of the screen. But you have to zoom in to find it.

okey 2 things now….
1. once again the matches issue: matches are in the middle of the screen lower quater… there is NO hotspot!! the zooming in (=right click) helps you to find it because the little hand turns into an arrow once you move over the matches….
2. the code to beat the first EsCape was : 537862… # 5, 3, 8, !6, 2 are on the phone…. maybe somebody can do something with it….

I’ve got the guitar (have been zooming and clicking ’til my hand drops off)
The puzzle picture (any tips thankfully received)
The painting (have painted the pebbles, any particular order)
The phone (still cant’ work that)
Anything we need to do with the car battery?

here’s another thing I found out… you can actually color the green stones on the painting… just take a brush move over the stone a couple of times and then just let go of the brush….
haven’t figured out the combination yet… any suggestions?

Walkthrough:
Step 1: Click around within the 1″ square area below and a tiny bit to the left of the center of the screen. The cursor will not change, but eventually you’ll strike a match. The match burns out very quickly! You have to click and drag the barrel fast and hit the lightswitch before the match burns out.
Key 1: Keep clicking on the oil can until it tips over - eventually a key will appear (zoom to see it easier) in the upper right hand corner of the spilled oil
Key 2: Click the larger of the 2 boxes until it reveals part of the pump. Attach the part to the foot pump and drag the pump until the gold part at the end of the hose matches the gold spot on the flat tire. Click on the pump until the tire inflates, and eventually a key will appear on the ground.
Key 3: Complete the picture puzzle to get the key
Key 4: Drag what looks like a magnifying glass around the room. It signals an alert whenever it’s around a key. If you drag it along the upper wall on the left side of the room, it will light up. Click on the upper middle brick just to the left of the support column on the left to get the key
Key 5: Make a basket with each of the 4 balls, and the key will appear on the hoop attachment (easier said than done - some of the “baskets” don’t actually register
Key 6: Punch in the numbers 5283 into the telephone
Key 7: type “adlzou” into the safe
Key 8: Zoom in on both the neck and the base of the guitar. If you drag your cursor around the strings, there will be several instances where the cursor turns into an arrow. Click each time, and after 6 or 7 clicks the guitar will play a song and render the key
Key 9: Click on each card at the bottom of the support column until they are showing all 4 Aces
Key 10: The picture on the wall has lots of colored rocks and 4 uncolored (they look green) rocks. The #3 rock is very small and just underneath the paint bucket. Paint the #1 rock brown, #2 dark blue, #3 orange, #4 light blue
And that’s it!! Kudos and Full Credit to Wiseguy and Aspirador for figuring all of these out - I simply put the list together.

The guitar, try click on the strings, but make sure u zoom in two or three times. It is really tricky, I still haven’t the key yet, but I was able to click 5 times at different places along the guitar string, just go slowly.
Move your mouse up and down the different strings slowly, soon as it changes click on it.
The picture on the wall, there is only 3 places u can paint, so i don’t know what order it should be.

I think there is also a bug with that picture where u have to rearrange everything. If u click too many time, it gets stuck, you will see two key thingie instead one.

One of the balls doesn’t bounce as much as the others so you can keep it in the air and just drop it in the basket. I didn’t do the wall puzzle or the phone or the painting or the guitar. I just played the baskets, got lots of keys, and got out!

With the cards, just keep clicking until you have an ace of each suit and a key will appear on one of the cards.

Click around the darkness till you light a match, then you have to slide the door and turn on the light
Click on the oil can near the car, click it to spill oil till a key comes out
Click on the cards till they all become aces
Put every basketball through the hoop, then a key will appear on the basket
Move the box, grab the part of the pump, take the pump to a tyre, then pump it up, it will give you a key
Paint in the correct spots to get a key
The puzzle on the wall is tricky, but complete it and you will get another key
In the room with the car grab the thing leaning against the pillar, it is a metal detector. You must move it over the walls till it lights up and eventually you will find another key. (Hint - Look at the top left area)
Type 5283 into the phone
For the safe you need to read the braille on the wall for the password (Hint - It’s adlzou)
The last key is rather tough. You must find tab for the classic Metallica song ‘Enter Sandman’, then click the first 6 notes into the guitar. You should hear the tune and a key will pop out. So far we believe no one worked this one out, it was a bit tough with only giving the poster on the wall as a clue.
