  4. i, ii, iii, I, II and III correspond to the number of symbols in the corresponding line of the box that you used to open the secret room. Just count the number of symbols (not numbers) and type this into the red panel.

    The only thing I got is open the panel to go into the room.
    I got a hammer, pump blue thing and macpee.
    how to you get to the key upstairs and what else can u do I’m totally stuck please help!

    You have to have that peice of paper with the numbers and shapes going round in a circle. So asuming the numbers and shapes go counter-clockwise, each number is the 2 numbers before it added.

    0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, and then 200 sumthing.

    You fill in the mystry shapes on the sheet. So if instead of a number you got a triangle, you would have to find out what number the triangle represents. (Yes people! ITS ALGEBRA) Fill in the missing variable. Once you figure that out, go to the panel and click the triangle, then click the number the triangle represents.

    Just click around. The “pump blue thing” is a mirror. Put it in the small circle of light in the beginning of the room where the character fell in before you do anything else. And another 2 clues: Check the ground. Corners. Anything out of the ordinary. A small slim thing sticking out, something a differant color the its saroundings. Oh, and i tried copying the words at the botton of the screen and translating them. It helps, but not much.

  14. Oh, and a little helpe here?: I got past the first few things but i can’t get past the pink box with the numbers and the letters. I’ve tried to use, “i, ii, iii, I, II and III correspond to the number of symbols in the corresponding line of the box that you used to open the secret room.   17. The numbers that are arranged in a circle are add-ups. Add the first two numbers together and you get the third. 1 + 1 =2, 1 + 2 =3, 2 + 3 =5

    The pink box puzzle:
    Go back to the control panel that opens the secret room. The same symbols that appear on the pink box are here. Count the number of symbols for each line vertically and horizontally matching each symbol with a number.

  18. My guess is that the elevator code is the area of the trapezoid in the geometry problem on the note pinned to the bulletin board in the same room. (Unless it has something to do with the atomic numbers of the elements from the note on the upstairs wall, which I haven’t used yet either, but that seems a lot less likely.) Unfortunately, most of the characters on the labels don’t appear to be numerals as I understand them, but some other form of Kanji? Can anyone who knows Japanese clarify?

    It also sounds like the pink box code changes in each game, based on different sums of the i/ii/iii/I/II/III symbol counts, since mine was different than Alex’s (came out to 122225).

  19. Correcting myself: it looks like these aren’t kanji at all, but katakana, a separate writing system. Unfortunately, my attempts to translate them via Google have so far produced

    ika (squid)
    namako (sea cucumber)
    tako (rammer)

    which presumably is not right. ;)

  20. On second thought, maybe there’s something to this…check out this thread and scroll down to comment #98 (unfortunately they shut it down at #100): .

    From Arina’s partial translation of the blue book on the high shelf in the initial room, it looks like this is some sort of kana-to-numeral conversion puzzle. Supposedly, “ne-ko” (cat) maps to 15, and “I-nu” (dog) is 31. If that’s the case, where does it leave i-ka, na-ma-ko, and ta-ko? It doesn’t look like it’s anything so obvious as a mapping from a traditional ordering of the kana, but figure it out, solve the geometry problem, and I bet you wind up with the elevator code. Still working on it…

  23. If you don’t know how to do the panel that unlocks the secret room, look under the cabinet next to the trash can. You might be missing the sheet of paper that’s there. You Once you get it, look at the circle of numbers. The symbols are in place of numbers. You add up the preceding two numbers to get the number the symbol represents. You can then use this on the keypad to get into the secret room.

  24. Once the first keypad is open and the secret room opens, pick up the blue mirror. Take it back to the beginning and put it under the hole in the ceiling (with all the light). You can then go in the secret room and start looking around for stuff.

    Once you find the rod, you can get the key upstairs and come back into the secret room to open the drawer.

    Once the drawer is opened, that’s when you take your previous grid of i’s, ii’s, and iii’s and count the number of shapes you put in each row. That’s the code to open it.

    You will then get the key for the elevator keypad. Turn on the power in the hallway with the rod. (In Japanese it must have been saying before we’re too short or it’s too high or something like that). Go to the keypad and put the key in.

    Now, for the key pad for the elevator: the red characters of the wall are hint. “i,Ro,ha,ni” means the order of old Japanese kana letters.

    The sheet of paper you found with a whole bunch of Japanese writing is a formula for the code. Sort of: XYZ+ABC+DEF x VW=?
    Unfortunately for us, each formula code seems to be different for each time the game is played. So, we have to look at our own and figure it out for ourselves.

    That’s as far as I have gotten.

  30. I found this on another page someone said that the elevator code was 2976 and it worked on me so everyone try it on yours not unless its different on different people. well anyways try it and see if that works hopefully it will. Goodbye
